Sirens anxiety

In pain

My anxiety is calling for me at shore

Ocean swelling and crashing

Breath lost in deep dark splashes of regret and remorse

Distance and hurdles announcing how a fool I could be for throwing myself off this ship

That ship that sailed past named life honked a rigid monotone alert in remembrance of my linear life

Life lost

Body lifeless

Floating any which way as to please the tide

Anxiety proclaiming its stance as island shore shrinks inward almost self-imploding

Is this me I could yell but voices lost as sailors draw to sirens cry

But alive within this withering sirens mind
