Happiness poem

It knocked at my door ten times

It screamed for my love

It cut and bled for my attention

It vanished like a smoke fog after a rainy day

Praying and begging for its return lead me down roads unknown and unmarked

It asked for my venerability that was clocked by layers of sharpened metal

It tested my patience and challenged my commitment

Playing its games left me baron and far from whole

Its peace and love diapered at a flickering light diming out never to return

All alone became my mantra bleeding for a never coming escape

Enduring pain and raining storms of tears turning life inside out is a life marked as mine

Happiness where are you
